The location was good, the room was beautiful, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet in the room, it felt like we were the only ones there. Breakfast was nice. We have stayed in a few different hotels in Umeå and this is by far our favourite.

U&me hotel is located in the center of Umeå, just 50 meters from the Umeälv. The contemporary furnished rooms all have a fantastic view of the city or the river.

We loved the view from our room on the 11th floor looking directly over the river. The whole design of the room was excellent, we especially loved the bed having a direct view through the window. The room was not big but it was very functional. There was excellent choice of foods at breakfast. We mannaged to find a parking spot on a public parking between the hotel and the river for a low price (free during the night). We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hostel that is more like a hotel. Perfect location right by the central station and just a short walk from Umea downtown. The breakfast was always fresh and extensive. I especially enjoyed the warm bread rolls and fresh apple juice. When you have to leave early in the morning, they even provide you with a take-away breakfast bag.

Hotell Gamla Fängelset is a converted prison from 1861 located in central Umeå and offers free WiFi and breakfast. All rooms have windows and shared bathroom facilities.
