Of all my extensive travels in the Philippines this boutique hotel blew me out of the water. This is a rare gem. Our stay at Panglao Lofts was very pleasant. The apartment is in a quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle of Alona Beach, which we didn’t miss at all. It is spacious and comfortable, and the caretaker, Stiffany, was incredibly friendly and always ready to help. She suggested visits to lesser-known waterfalls and gave us a great tip for an excellent massage, which made our experience even better. There was some noise from a nearby construction site, but it was only a temporary disturbance and didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. With a scooter, everything is within easy reach, making it convenient to explore the island. A great choice for those looking for peace and comfort in Panglao.

The hostel owner and her team went above and beyond to ensure I was helped and catered for, they looked after me like I was one of their family and helped me with anything I needed. It was one of the loveliest hostels I have stayed in. Everything was 10/10. The location is very peaceful and a 7 minute scooter ride from the chaos of alona beach. This is much better than then the other hostels in the town as alona beach itself is abit overhwleming. Can drive to a sensational beach in less than 10 minutes. 7-11 6 mins away. It was perfect. The breakfast was 80pesos and the best I had. You can book tours and motorbikes from the hostels at the cheapest prices, don't book from anyone else!

Danny & Mae are great host! They have thought of everything to ensure their guests comfort and convenience. Their unit is spotless and well maintained and has everything you need to cook your own meals if you want to. Very comfortable bed (even if too high for me as I'm not very tall 😉), big shower, good hot water system. Basically all the comforts of home

We had a wonderful time at Villa Formose. It really exceeded our expectations, it looks even better in real than on the pictures. Staff gave us a wonderful welcoming. They were supernice during the remainder of our stay. There's an option to have dinner and staff cooked it with love. Italian owner was very sympathetic. Dumaluan beach is at walking distance. You need to pay an entrance fee, but this was well worth it. For people who want a pleasant quiet stay at the beach I would highly recommend it. The beach is way better then the noisy and polluted Alona. Overal had a very nice stay here, with a beautiful swimming pool and garden, plus the remarkeable friendly staff.

    Great location-close to everything with beach access just a short stroll away. Staff were amazing, friendly & helpful. Breakfast was the perfect way to start your day. Rooms are big, good air-con, tinted privacy windows on balcony a great touch. Safe moto parking. Pool & grounds are amazing and very relaxing. Good wifi. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Panglao ❤️

    The room is big, there is parking only for 1 car in front of the property so make sure to ask if parking is available for you but there is paid parking nearby at Moonlit restaurant, location is perfect! Right in the middle of Alona, few steps to the beach.
