We had an amazing time at Desert Lodge and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodation was fantastic, offering stunning views and breathtaking sunsets that we will never forget. One of the highlights was the affordable and delicious BBQ option, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The proximity to Dead Vlei was also perfect – it made visiting the iconic site so easy and convenient. Additionally, we loved relaxing by the pool and had a great time at the bar. The entire atmosphere was incredibly welcoming, and we truly felt at home. Was very secluded, you had your own area, toilet and shower. We stayed at the ‘pigeonhole’ and it was great. Very well looked after, good all around!

One of the best campsites we have been in Namibia: it has everything you need. Located in a very quiet place, it is a premium choice if you want to have a rest while travelling from Sesriem to the southern part of Namibia. They have 7 camping sites in 2 different areas and both areas have a swimming pool, in addition to the main swimming pool you can find at the reception. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Every dinner they have something different cooked the same day: the Lamb Stew was terrific! Highly recommended 💪🏼

The location is perfect. The camp is next to the park gate. The facilities are great. You have a toilet and shower for yourself. There is a beautiful view for both sunrise and sunset. Great mini market which opens from 5:30 am thru 7:00 pm. There is also a gas station.
