An authentic Montenegrin stay in a setting surrounded by mountains. Completely natural setting with wild meadow, cows and chickens grazing and a flowing river nearby. The Katun is basic but was extremely comfortable and meet the needs of our day hikes out and back into Prokletije National Park. This is a lovely property in a beautiful location, very close to many incredible hiking trails. The hosts were incredibly attentive and made us delicious meals, both breakfast to prepare us for our walks and dinner to enjoy after we returned. Our twin room had plenty of space for us both and at a very reasonable price.

Everything was perfect, the huts are build with such attention to detail. Everything was perfect and the host is very welcoming, making sure that you have everything you need (they went out of their way to make sure that their guests are comfortable). The location is also perfect and so many hiking possibilities in the area! What I really appreaciated is the seating area outdoors where you can eat/relax. The only thing I regret is not booking more nights :)
