Lovely riad, highly recommended, great location, comfortable. The last few kilometers of the road are demanding; 4x4 required. Recommend arriving during the day. We'll definitely be back one day!

We loved everything about this place: its location in the middle of Atlas mountains, far away from the civilisation, traditional, stone architecture of the house, cosiness and traditional design of the rooms, delicious maroccan dinner and breakfest, but most of all the hospitality and kindness of Ibrahim who made our stay an unforgettable experience. Houssain is the kindest host, always trying to make you happy! It was freezing and he put a heater in our room to make it hot before we arrived. Also, the dinner was the besy we had in Morocco! Absolutely recommended

The owner is so sweet, really had the best time staying here. The view is spectacular!! When we arrived he prepared us tea and even offered us some melon. As it was hot he even gave us some fresh water (for free). The room is cosy with a cute balcony overlooking the mountain. They are expanding the property and looking to do a pool, I bet it will be even nicer.

We are cycle touring and this was a perfect stay for us. Our tandem was stored inside securely and we were so well looked after by Ibrahim and his family. We also enjoyed meeting other cycle tourers here. We arrived nice and early as we're cycling the Tichka pass in small steps, and so Ibrahim walked us round his village explaining the Amazigh way of life. We had a fascinating afternoon learning about the culture, the effects of climate change, the coming of electricity and the history of the village. Ibrahim and his wife cooked a delicious traditional meal for us (the best we've eaten so far in our 25 days in morocco) and we were able to sit on the terrace looking out over the valley. We recommend this to anyone who wants to be part of an Amazigh village for a night while having all the comforts of an auberge.

Staying here was a highlight of our trip, we stayed on the way from Marrakesh to Ouzarzate. The Kasbah is an old family home, much cherished and loved, situated in a small working village with no other obvious tourism. Our host was a warm and sophisticated man, gracious with his hospitality. We were with our 2 teenage boys and had a lovely walk in the evening to and around neighbouring villages, including a quick football kick-about with some children. The interiors are simple, charming and very comfortable. We had a delicious home-cooked supper served by our host and enjoyed breakfast to set us on our way. We can highly recommend a stay here for a flavour of village-life.
