This is in a wonderful spot in the Ammeln valley, a short distance out of Tafraoute so your own transport is essential. Berber villages can be seen right along the valley, which is perfect for walking and cycling. Bio Berde is a great place to stay - excellent dinner and breakfast and the lovely Nezha and chef Hanane looked after us beautifully, with a little help from Moses the cat. We had a simple suite of 2 rooms for 3 nights with a very nice terrace where you can drink tea in the shade or the sun. Breakfast is included and there is secure parking.

This appartment (and its owner Jamal) must be more than recommended. Perfectly located (close to the CTM bus station, close to the cafes, restaurants and Wednesday souk; even if everything in Tafraoute is quite walkable anyway), it offers everything you need. But especially Jamal is added value you won´t find everywhere. i) Easy going, a good introduction to quiet life in the town; ii) completely helpful (we got useful tips/recommendations not only or our trips around); iii) if you want to know Tafraoute from local angle, who live there, what about big villas at he end of the town, what about nomads living in tents out of the Tafraoute... don´t miss talk with him. Only one problem shouldn´t be hidden: we should stay a bit longer. But it is our business. :) We hope to come next year, insalah.:)

The host here was the loveliest man. He was extremely helpful during our time, offering to drive us to nearby places, bringing us nice food and offering great insight into the local area. The guesthouse is in an amazing location- much better than staying in Tafraoute, and the place itself is gorgeous. The roof has the most amazing views imaginable.

Ali is the kindest, friendliest host I think I’ve ever met! He really goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. He provided a tasty Moroccan breakfast for 30dh, and also a laundry service for 30dh, well worth it for both! He also recommended a local hiking guide who I had a great hike with. The roof terrace has great views and is nice and peaceful for relaxing. The hotel is near the edge of Tafraout but it’s such a small village it’s still close to everything. The room was pleasant with a very comfortable bed and shutters which block out all light in the mornings, perfect.

Best breakfast during my stay in Morroco. The staff was very helpful. The place is outside of the town (10 min walk), nice and quiet. The room was clean. One person from the staff even spoke very good English, so no problem communicating.

Beautiful peaceful place where mom and son take care of authentic house and make you feel like home. They prepare me a pancake with nutella&banana for desert after dinner, that is something what you just could wish for during staying in Morocco.     We had a big spacious room that had amazing mountain views and good air conditioning. Beds are very firm, which could be good for some people. Included breakfast, which was substantial and simple and there were very friendly and helpful servers. Good parking right out front.

    Excellent breakfast, lots of choice and pleanty of it. Evening meals also were traditional and very tasty. Ali the owner was rely helpful and accommodating. His initial welcome made us all feel at home instantly. Good off street parking for several cars.

    I liked the fact, that even though we arrived late at night (unexpectedly), there was a person waiting for us outside and showing us to the parking lot. The hotel was nice, I enjoyed the view and the breakfast.

    Bouchra is one of the best host we ever met: helpful, communicating very well, even in English and French, a great cook and can provide you with lots of good information about walks, interesting points etc. Delicious diners and breakfast, mountainview from the roof terrace. Walking distance from centre and save street parking for free
