A great local experience with a roaring fire every evening as it gets quite cold in this area at this time of year. This led to great conversations by the fireside whilst being served great local dishes such as tagines. A great breakfast every morning served by people with huge smiles. Great hotel in a wonderful location. The rooms are super clean as is the entire hotel and the service is amazing. The food was the best we had during our trip and our two hosts Moha and Nabil were truly awesome. An amazing place that we certainly do recommend to everyone visiting this region.

The location is the best for visiting the Gorges du Dades. From the room and the terras you have a beautiful view on the gorges. The hotel is located in a quiet spot. The food is absolutely delicious. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. We would love to come back and stay longer, and hike up the mountains for a real Berber experience next time!

    We felt just like home. This place reminded me of staying with my grandparents, everything is so cozy and welcoming. It’s a perfect stop halfway between Marrakesh and Sahara. The accommodation is secluded from the street, so parking the car was safe. The room is excellent with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was just stunning, and for a little extra you can get a homemade traditional Moroccan dinner. Thank you so much, I hope to come again.

    A wonderful, atmospheric place and very nice owners. As soon as we showed up, they showed us a quiet parking space, took us to a room with soul and offered us a traditional meal, which was delicious - we have never eaten such a delicious tagine anywhere else. What's more, our meal was served in a charming courtyard. Also the breakfast was great. We really recommend it if you are in the area.

    We were given a very large room that was very comfortable. The shower was large and plenty of hot water. The heater worked well and warmed up the room. Free parking in front but better for small cars (because a large car would stick out in traffic). Shampoo & shower gel provided. Big breakfast and heater at breakfast too.

    Super staff. Very polite and helpful. Rooms in good state of repair and comfortable. Air conditioning heater in bedroom. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. Sun terrace. Off street parking for my motorcycle. Public rooms had gas heaters, otherwise it would have been too cold. Nice courtyard garden. Good restaurant.

    Every moment in Riad Dades Birds was joyful! We enjoyed chatting with Brahim and Mustapha in the kitchen, ate everything they cooked on site (delicious!), enjoyed the live Moroccan music after dinner, learned Berber history and language. We loved their dog Lulu's company, and named her two puppies Simba and Nala. The gated parking lot is plus! Thanks for the extra blankets and heater!
