The staff was exceptional; we had a flat tire and they went out of their way to help us: putting on the spare and getting the flat repaired as well. The area was authentic, and the surrounding kashba that had crumpled down were scenic. Food was good.

Hara Oasis is located is a true gem just some minutes away from the busier Agdz. Every detail has been paid attention to and when we were there the dam just opened so we were able to go for a morning swim in the beautiful river in the middle of the Oasis. Mohammed, Khalifa and the other staff were so kind and caring and told us many things about the surroundings and its history. We had an amazing dinner (best tajine we had!) in the garden and wished we stayed for another night.

This Dar feels like an oasis in itself. It has an impressive view of a kasbah. Fountains and gardens. Away from the road and noise. The staff was extremely sweet and attentive. Dinner and breakfast by the swimming pool. Secure parking. Well well worth the trip. Stay 2 days if you need a break! They serve alcohol.

Firstly I want to emphasized that if you seek luxury and comfort living experience, never go to desert palm oasis villages, go to big ugly cities. countryside hotel can only provided basic service, it is sustainable but need our tolerance. Chez Yacob Tamnougalt is actually a rose-colored mudbrick fortification kasbah, this Ksar are formidable rising above palm oasis, towers made of meter-thick straw-reinforced mudbrick looks amazing, I am a Chinese explorer, when I hired bikes from Chez Yacob and rode to the remote villages, many local people said that in their whole life time they never see a Chinese cyclist, it made me very happy, so I contributed lots of efforts to raise local poor people's life by paying their food. the purpose of staying in Chez Yacob is convenient to explore the palm oasis and adored the beauty of the nature.

Lachen, Dominique and their staff are wonderful hosts and their location and setting are both beautiful as is the design of both the buildings and the garden. Parking easy and secure. Food delicious. We would have happily stayed longer but of course were moving on. Thanks for a memorable stay and delicious food.
