We only stayed one night before our Safari, but we loved it. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the property is immaculate. Nice pool as well, and the restaurant is good. Highly recommend.

Safari Inn was a great place to stay for visiting the Yala National Park. It's a little off the main road but we got picked up by a tuk tuk, and the staff helped us organise a jeep tour with a very knowledgeable guide, which we recommend.

I loved everything about this place. I would like to start by commending Gayan, the host! He is probably the best and nicest host I've had in Sri Lanka. He sent me to the town FOC to get some of the best Sri Lankan food I've eaten, given me a free nature tour around the lake where we can see fruit bats and owls, arranged the safari at the most affordable rate I could find, had some of the most interesting conversations about plants, animals, Sri Lankan culture, etc. Everything in this place felt like a family home. We had tea at 4AM before the safari and was also welcomed back with a king coconut! The room was also amazingly clean, spacious, well decorated and came with an extra cooler fan because Tissa can get quite hot. I definitely recommend this place and would love to come back again!

This hotel was amazing. Nice and clean room with a pleasant smell. Very nice family. From the time we arrived till we left you feel so comfortable with them , make you feel like you are at home. A nice and fresh watermelon juice on arrival as a welcome drink .The food was delicious. They offer bicycles for free and let us use the washing machine.The organised safari was amazing. He also organised a tuktuk for us to take us to the bus stop to continue our next destination for Ella after morning safari. We recommend this accommodation.

This is the place that exceeds your expectations! All the reviews that you read is not too good to be true- it’s a real reflection from people that experienced the stay at the Elegant Lake House. From the first step you’re greeted by Randy and his exceptional service. The property is beautiful, surrounded by nature- perfect place to relax and disconnect. We definitely suggest to stay more than one night if you can, because we promise you won’t want to leave. Randy has a lot of knowledge to share about his village and nature and he gladly does it for his guests by showing around. The food that they prepare is delicious! The room was clean, no frills and value for money. Perfect for one night to visit Yala Safari. Our friendly host took us around the lake and my children got to see many wildlife right there...variety of birds, bats, buffaloes and even a crocodile. They arranged the safari for us too with an experienced driver and provided us packed breakfast and fruits for the trip. Overall a good experience
