A piece of heaven in the countryside of Sri Lanka. The villa is located inside a beautiful garden and just 10 min from the beach. The host will do everything to make you feel at home. I really appreciate that the host took me to visit the surrounding area free of charge. The breakfast was delicious, with a choice of Sri Lankan, Indian or Western food. For a very reasonable price, he also offers an excellent dinner. Thanks again :)

We had a fantastic time at Sunny Villa. Sarah and Rosi gave us the impression that we were staying at a family home rather than a guesthouse as soon as we arrived. Both of them are incredibly kind, welcoming, and sincerely helpful they are always smiling and have excellent local advice. The beach, which has good waves for surfing and clear water for swimming, is only a short stroll away, making the location ideal. After long days in the sun, the clean, comfortable rooms and beds were just what we needed. Sunny Villa made us feel welcome in every way. You come here as a visitor and go away feeling like a member of the family. Our stay was better than we could have imagined. Highly recommend!

Apartment is extremely clean, with a new AC, warm water, big kitchen and bathroom, and a incredibly comfortable bed. Beach is within a 5 min walking distance. And the best of all - host is an amazing person. He helped us immensely, including driving us to the hospital, helping with purchasing a new phone and recommending all of the good places to eat. I would give him 11/10 :)

what a complete service this hotel had with this staff is amazing. whatever we needed, they arranged everything and with a smile. I needed, for example, help with a birthday party for my wife and they arranged everything and the result was amazing. Sarath, Pearly and their daughter Sachini, not forgetting Sanju the 16 year old dashund are the most charming hosts. We travelled as two couples and were made to feel at home immediately. The guest rooms are on the upper floor, which we had to ourselves with a separate external staircase to access it. We also had use of the fridge in the kitchen at the rear which our delicious breakfasts were prepared in.each day. This is served on the spacious balcony surrounded by tropical trees which attract many species of beautiful birds, chipmonks and fruit bats, ,which is just about the best way we can think of to start the day. Both rooms had private bathrooms, one being ensuite and the other just outside the room, but not a problem at all. The beds were large and comfortable and there was plenty of space for storing our belongings. This was important to us because we'd been travelling around and this was our last base for 10 nights. It was great to finally be able to unpack everything and get organised. In addition to the access door each room also has double doors which open out onto the balcony too. The bathrooms are very clean with powerful separate shower cubicles. Location wise the Villa is positioned only a few hundred yards off the main Galle Road down a narrow side road, but it feels as though you're nowhere near to it as we couldn't hear any traffic noise at all. Continue down the lane past the villa, over the little bridge and meander down the various lanes you can take and within 10 minutes you'll find yourself at the beautiful Moragalla beach. This was our seventh trip to Sri Lanka and we've been fortunate enough to stay in some great places over the years but Beach Gate Villa is definitely in our favourites list. As far as value for money goes it has to be top. We will definitely be back on our next trip. Thank you guys for a wonderful stay x

It is very saftty and clean location. Ample parking and secure location in side of the hotel for vehicle. Pool is very clean. Very nice location for coffee shop. Restaurant located in rooftop and nice view. Foods were delicious. Staff were friendly and coparative. Nice guidance for tourism attraction areas are nereby. Very clean room and bath room. Linen are very clean and new looking. AC also good and all promised things in add are available. Nice experience.
