We loved its compactness and all the thoughtful inclusions. It was ideal and we would stay longer next time. The location was secluded enough but centred for lively nightlife, probably ideal for young couple but for a parent and child it was also great.

I came to Seoul for a business trip and ended up staying in this lovely home – it was so comfortable, I didn’t want to leave! It’s located in a peaceful residential area, away from the hustle and bustle, which allowed me to relax and get a great night’s sleep after a busy day. The place is incredibly clean, and the bedding was so soft and cozy, I had the best sleep ever! The design of the space is unique and charming, reminding me of accommodations you’d find in a European city. I also loved the beautiful photos displayed around the apartment – they really showcased the amazing hidden gems of Korea. I’m definitely recommending this place to my friends who visit Seoul! I feel so lucky to have found such an amazing spot at this price. I’ll definitely be back!

The week I spent at Y House, Seoul was a very pleasant one. The apartment is clean, modern and well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is bottled water as well as tea and coffee making facilities with teabags and coffee capsules provided. An umbrella is available to borrow, which luckily I didn't need, and there are plenty of toiletries and towels for your use in the bathroom. The shower works really well and the water was always hot while I was there. The view of the southern Seoul skyline is breathtaking with the Lotte Tower clearly visible from the window of the apartment. The building is quiet and the air-con works really well, so I always got a good night's sleep. There are lots of shops in the neighbourhood and also an ATM which accepts foreign cards. A CU convenience store is located right on the ground floor of the building itself. Getting to the city centre and all the main sights is easy as the Line 5 Gangdong subway station is just a few steps away. By subway the journey to the downtown area is approximately 35-40 minutes. I highly recommend Y House to anyone travelling to Seoul for whatever purpose - you won't be disappointed!

We loved the location being in a real part of South Korean suburbia with a street market, supermarket, coffee shop, eateries etc only metres away and a short walk to bus stops and taxis. The host provided clear instructions on finding the property and how to access. The apartment was spotless and it was really convenient having a full bathroom both downstairs and upstairs. It was also tastefully decorated with lots of soft lighting options all throughout. The floor space was extremely generous compared to other accommodation we had used during our trip (If you struggle with stairs this accommodation is not for you. Access to the apartment is via a lift however both bedrooms are upstairs). Not speaking Korean made it difficult to use TV's and AC remotes, Washing Machine, hot water temperature setting and floor heating etc however the host was quick to respond with clear instructions that were easy to follow. The free Wi-Fi is fast and there are external areas for quick drying of clothes if needed (if it isn't raining).

Love the how near it is to Konkuk MRT Station and Lotte Dept Store. It’s not hard to find food nearby. Also, the staffs were exceptional. I got a free upgrade on one of my room by a young man on the front desk who was super nice and he also guided me on the facilities and how to use the doors and elevators. Also, when I had a problem with aircon, the response was really fast. Then, thanks to Ethan who helped me booking vans for my big fam one day prior so we could immediately go the next day (even tho we were late and driver was quite angry, but we are a group of 10 people with an elderly, pregnant mom, and 3yo child). The rooms were spacious, the aircons were separated for every room (bedroom, livingroom, outside bedroom). I was surprised that my rooms have way a lot of drawers. The beds are comfy. The cherry on top is that there is a washing machine and a space to hang the clothes.
