This was my favorite stay during my trip! Surrounded by the countryside, this 280 years old house has all the charms of its age, but still reasonably modern amenities. The staff is especially friendly, helpful, and welcoming. And you can get amazing home-cooked meals too! If you want to go out of the beaten path and explore the rural side of Japan, this is absolutely the best place!

The staff tried very hard to communicate with us in english and helped us as much as they could, which I felt was a lot and made things easier for us. The cleaners were also very considerate. Breakfast buffet was great as well, lots of variety and the menu changed daily. I travelled with my young children and they were able to choose atleast 5 options daily from the breakfast buffet. Parking is available outside the hotel for a small fee. Location is also far enough that you’re able to be out of the busy area but close enough that it’s only a 10 minute drive back towards the station and close to the motorway if you want to travel out further.

Views are very beautiful and the balcony was also very nice. The room is spacious and has all the usual needs. Free parking which is great, Onsen although we didn't use it and wasn't tattoo friendly. Laundry room was also useful

Friendly and attentive staff. The room and bathroom were clean, the beds were comfortable. The SPA on the top floor was fine, maybe a bit small, but we were alone most of the time. We got a good deal on parking nearby. Near the railway station.

Great location, friendly staff, the parking wasn't free but it was very cheap. The room was comfortable with a very big TV. I enjoyed the bath and the free massage chair. The breakfast was alright, I would stay there again.
