The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!

Excellent place, it superseded our expectations and was the best place we stayed in during our visit around Iceland. The accommodation has plenty of space and all the necessary amenities, looks very cozy and is in a quiet location. A small extra tip that we appreciated, the apartment and the bedsheets very clean, fresh and also did not smell like cheap laundry detergent, so an extra bonus for people sensitive to smells. Definitely recommend Hítarneskot Accommodations and very grateful to the host for a great stay.

The shower did not have a normal drain but rather had a space between the tiles for the water. We didn’t realize this immediately and water was EVERYWHERE. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and the fresh bread is out of this world. Abundance of parking spaces (free) and we saw the aurora from this location.

Snorrastaðir Guesthouse is located in Kolbeinsstaðir. The hostel provides mountain views and a terrace. At the hostel each room is equipped with a shared bathroom with a shower.

This was a beautifully decorated and fully equipped 4 bedroom, 2 full bath house surrounded by beautiful countryside, mountains and horse farms. Very peaceful and good location for exploring peninsula. We loved having space to spread out. Hosts were great.
