This place is brand new and amazing. The hot tubs and sauna that overlook the glacier are definitely the highlight. If you get lucky (like me) you might even get to see the aurora while sipping an excellent cocktail in the hot tub. Other than that all the staff were very kind and professional. The hotel's restaurant is great and offers amazing food made with local ingredients. Also their signature cocktails were delicious.

The location. Beautifully located by the beach with mountains view. Quiet area and not far from the attractions. Breakfast was great. Staffs were all friendly. There’s a small museum with a nice story behind and when you stay there you could visit the museum for free. Great place & surrounded with good energy :) The dinner was great too!

Great location a short drive to the Jokulsarlon and Diamond beach. The cottage was cozy with a nice loft and comfy beds after a long day on the road. Fully equipped kitchen with coffee was nice in the morning. Would recommend this place to those looking to overnight before or after visiting the major attractions in the region.

The rooms were great and the beds comfortable. We stayed for dinner and the food was amazing. It was our son's 24th birthday and they were kind enough to order for us a cake to celebrate. Hosts are amazing and kind and it would have been great if we would have stayed a few days, but the ring road did not permit this. Parking right outside our door.

This is the best accommodation in our trip to Iceland this time. We all really like it. Everything was great! Some bulbs were not working, but they came over to check immediately and explained that there was some shortage which was totally understandable.

    A hotel with amazing location and surroundings, rooms were large, 2 hairdriers, friendly staff. Solid but not great breakfast (only hard boiled eggs from egg selection). Solid parking. 10min from diamond beach. Comfortable beds! Good for a stopover.

    Even though we checked in late, they wrote detailed information about the check-in in advance and were helpful. The breakfast included local products and was very good. Its location is very close to the glacier area. It has its own free parking spaces. You can get unlimited tea and coffee from the common area.

    There are coffee, tea and hot water at the lobby, so is convenient for us to have some hot drinks or make some cup noodle. The parking is outside our rooms.

    Everything . Location is 15min drive to Jokulsarlon and diamond beach. Parking in front of the house. Great breakfast , friendly service. The kitchen and the beds were all very clean and comfortable. Our best stop for the 10 days journey in Iceland.

    Room was large, I had a triple and had room to unpack. Location is excellent for Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, Fjallsárlón and Skaftafell. Parking was outside the room / building.

    The property is in a beautiful and historic location and practically shares a parking lot with the glacier adventure company we booked, so the morning was easy. The free milk and juice was nice, the kitchen was way bigger than I'd expected. The beds were fairly comfy.

    Nice hotel room, free parking next to the building, check-in process at the reception (the other building) was fast and smooth. Bathroom was okay, the bed was okay, the included breakfast was really good with bunch of different stuff to choose from.

    We loved this location! The nearby restaurant was fabulous. Also it is directly across the road from Glacier Adventure that provides ice cave tours! Other places you have to meet at a parking lot for ice cave tours but this was their basecamp and meeting point. So simple! Hali is a great area!
