This apartment is just amazing! The owners put in so much love, the interior is great and you have everything you need, a dream of a kitchen, also a very nice soundbar, Netflix if you like and so much more. All the details (Qtips and so many other things you could need for example, bath robes, towels etc.) make the place so comfortable. Of course the indoor bathtub with an unbeatable view makes it even more special. Thank you so much for this great time at your place!!

The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Their English was excellent. We felt that we had experienced some of Iceland's culture that we would not have if we stayed in a chain hotel. And it was very close to the airport.

Very friendly host! A vulcanic eruption startet right after my arrival at the guesthouse, and she gave me some good tips on how to see it better. The guesthouse is comfortable, and the location is very good for those having an early flight from Keflavik.

A lovingly furnished apartment with many little touches that make you feel right at home. The light was on when we entered the apartment in the evening, and we felt truly welcomed and welcomed. This apartment was the nicest we've rented during our 15-day stay in Iceland. Here, for once, the price-performance ratio was just right. Thank you so much – we'd love to come back.

The accommodation was ideal, very warm, comfortable and was equipped with everything I needed to cook with, sleep, store my equipment, entertain myself and an ideal Base for my holiday. The first part of the accommodation is the entrance and has a sink, lots of shelving for storing my fell walking equipment and makes an ideal drying room for wet boots and gear. The living room has a lovely well equipped kitchenette, table, sofa, large TV with YouTube, Netflix, Disney channel, music channels and more. It was decorated lovely, spacious, very warm and very comfortable. Bathroom has toilet, sink, shower and equipped with all you needed, including Toiletries, towels, facecloths and toilet rolls. The bedroom had a double bed with very clean and warm bedding and I had great sleeps every night. All in all, it was perfect and I could not fault the accommodation.

    We loved the location because we needed a place close to the airport to spend our first night before continuing our road trip. The check in was contactless and went smoothly. We arrived so late that we also saw the northern lights. Thank you for the coffee capsules. Very quiet with plenty of parking.

    Beautiful location near the lighthouse , sounds of the surf at night. We were lucky in our one night stay, as "they" turned on the northern lights" ,gentle green shades in the sky Also the parking lot was clean and snow pack free The owners have maintained this property and its shows , Pride in Hotel ownership , Smile So in closing , we would highly recommend The Lighthouse !!!

    Wonderful hotel. Massive room, good shower, VERY comfortable beds, great breakfast included in the price, free parking, quiet and serene. Ate at on-site restaurant on first night, small menu but really tasty. Asked for extra pillows which was no problem.

    The hotel's location is magnificent! The staff was very helpful and warm. There is minimal light pollution in the area around the hotel, increasing the chances of viewing the Northern Lights. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and gave off a Finnish log cabin vibes. There is ample parking space. Breakfast was also good, with decent vegetarian/vegan options. The room did get very warm at night, and we lowered the thermostat/opened the windows for some relief.

    Second time we've stayed here. Only 10-15 minutes from the airport. Cracking sunsets and northern lights. In a quiet location that is in the countryside, yet next to the sea. Nice lighthouse 5 minutes walk. Nice big rooms and enormous, comfy bed. Good base for first or last night and exploring the Reykjanes peninsular. Buffet breakfast. It's set back from a quiet road and has free parking. TV had a couple of UK channels. Marta on reception is lovely.
