Fantastic cute little cottage. Rooms and bathroom a bit smaller but suited us for our one night stay. Host has thought and provided everything that is needed from toothpaste, washing capsules for washing machine to breakfast. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Loved our stay.

We loved our stay in the log house. The house was exceptionally clean, lots of kitchen equipment to cook our own food, 2 x bedrooms very spacious. Location is ideal for couples/families that want to explore the sunny south east/Waterford/Kilkenny etc 😀. The local village has all your needs from groceries, chemist, chipper etc. The log house is 100 times nicer than staying in a hotel, you have your own space, peace etc. Donal the owner was very friendly and very helpful.

Lovely apartment, in the middle of town. Close to all amenities. A short hop to the Blue Way, a bike from Tracey’s, breakfast in Marty’s Pantry, and a pint in the Whistlers. All with in 10minutes of the Apartment. The bonus for us as folk music fans, was to stay in the Home of the Clancy Brothers, lovely memorabilia, set in an interior design which has a lot of thought gone into it.

The studio was perfect for our 1 night stay but I would recommend it if you’re looking for more nights. Very clean and well equipped with access to a washing machine and dryer which was very helpful for us. Instructions for getting to the property were easy, Google Maps or sat nav send you directly there once you put in the EIR code. It was not a problem for us, after having driven in Ireland for 2 weeks by this point, but the property is on a narrow road that’s a bit out of the way , and used by a nearby farm. We had to stop for cows crossing the road to go for milking 😂 It did mean the accommodation is lovely and quiet. Only about 10 min down the road to Piltown and a lovely pub. Takeaway food shop across the road from the pub or BYO food to the accommodation.

We were there off-season so the beer garden was closed and the town was relatively quiet, plus we only stayed one night passing through. It was a great spot for that purpose, with a quaint pub and restaurant on the ground floor and really nicely renovated rooms on the top floor. The room itself was one of the nicest and cleanest we stayed in during our trip around Ireland.
