During our stay we stayed in two apartments of Villa Porta Maestra (apartment 1+2). Both apartments are beautifully furnished! The apartments are perfectly equipped! The double beds as well as sofa beds are very comfortable. The apartments are located right in the center, the location could not have been better! Despite the central location, the rooms are well insulated. Especially apartment 2 is very quiet, and this apartment has a wonderful terrace with a view of the city center/sea. Apartment 1 does not have a terrace, but compensates for this with its spaciousness. The hostess and staff were super nice and are always available. Beach towels could be changed daily. Actually a luxury hotel in the form of apartments. We will definitely come back again!

Had everything we needed for a superb 2 night stay on Hvar. A short walk from the main old town area (we prefer that), but with everything we needed nearby; supermarket for breakfast supplies and snacks and a really good bar and eating place 5 minutes away in the little cove “The Hvar Brewing Company”. The room was immaculate and the large bed was the comfiest one so far this trip. The bed linen was spotless and gently scented, which was lovely. It was very quiet overnight and we slept well. Ivona’s placid friendly dog Orla completely stole our hearts. The patio area is perfect for a glass of wine outside the apartment and I made use of the rattan lounger on the patio for a quiet half hour in the late sunshine after a busy day. I Would highly recommend this accommodation.

spotless clean and the best view in Hvar! when we stepped into the unit we were blown away by the view and the size of the unit. it has 2 bathroom, huge living room , comfortable bed and pillow , hot and strong shower . it’s only a few minutes walk to the beach, where we had a swim all to ourselves (beach towels provided for). the kitchen has everything we need to prep a simple meal , the bathroom has complete amenities , numerous TV channels. Mirko was kind enough to recommend us a restaurant nearby(Grande Luna) with the best waiter (Matko) and best meal we had in Croatia. around 15 -20 minutes leisure walk to town by the coast , very beautiful way to explore Hvar. we cannot wait to return and stay at Blue Bay Residence when we visit Hvar again. thank you Mirko for your hospitality!

We had the pleasure of staying at their incredible penthouse for a night, and it was an unforgettable experience. The view of Hvar and the sunset from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking – one of the best I've ever seen. The apartment itself was not only spacious and comfortable but also beautifully designed and well-maintained. This was truly one of the best apartments we’ve had the opportunity to stay in. We had a beautiful view from our room. the location was good for one of our guests who had mobility issues and there are two ways to the hotel from the parking lot, one is along cobblestone streets and more steps and the other a little longer but flatter and easier to walk / carry bags. They offer assistance with carrying baggage which was helpful too.

Very useful to have a free parking place in front of the flat. The balcony is very nice, perfect for sunset drinks. The shared kitchen is well equipped. The flat is approximately 15 min on foot from the old town.
