The host was very available previously to the arrival. Then, at our arrival we appreciated home made biscuits and cherry syrop that was offered. Most hikers on the Menalon trail skip Zygovisti - I think this is a great shame, as it's one of the most welcoming little villages I've ever encountered. The house is in the middle of "upper Zygovisti", which means you're immersed in an environment of beautiful mountain and forest views. The house was extremely well stocked with tea, coffee, oranges, fresh local eggs etc. Special bonus was a bottle of local Tsipourou which was really delicious.

We were warmly greeted. Room was spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and made to order and included fabulous local products like yogurt, walnuts and honey. Alexi and Panayioti are fantastic hosts and and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bytina. Location is perfect and within minutes of main square and property is perfectly maintained with ample parking. Thank you Alexi and Panayioti for a lovely stay.
