I have had the fortune to be a guest with David and Mark previously. It is always a pleasure and exceeded my expectations in all ways. They are fabulous hosts, and iI am saddened a little more to leave every time. The house is a treasure trove of sights it is exquisite and exactly what is needed for a little but of a country escape near the city. I look forward to staying with them again as always.

The location is a real gem: with a bus (fittingly called the 'Crusader') running almost around the clock, the city center of Newcastle can be reached in under 15 minutes and the metro is close by as well. A high-tech washing machine is available and works perfectly and a little patio with garden furniture in the courtyard also doubles as a handy spot to dry clothes. Everything needed for a comfortable stay is in place.
