Our staying at Urquhart Bay B&B was super pleasant. The location is amazing, with a wonderful view on the lake and, of course, closed to Urquhart Castle. The B&B is managed with a heart-felt passion by Annie and Simon, indeed two beautiful souls - they make you feel at home. Everything, from the breakfast room to the garden, from the common room to the bedrooms is furnished with taste and an incredible attention to details. The breakfast was rich and fresh, and I loved the chance to have a really nice and friendly chat with Simon during it. A must stay while visiting Loch Ness.

We loved that the cottage is well-equipped with everything a group of people might need for a very comfortable stay, so you don't have to think twice whether you need anything to cook dinner or do a BBQ. The cottage is easily accessible by car (not sure how to get there without one, though). It's spacious, cosy, with pleasant views and a very nice garden where one can have their morning coffee. The fireplace is a huge added bonus that made our stay extra special. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, and they made sure that we were not lost due to the changing traffic conditions.

Julie and Chris are very nice and warm hosts. The rooms are modernized in new country style. Very comfortable beds, everything super clean. The breakfast was excellent, freshly prepared with a good selection of cereals, fruits, yogurt, etc. The guesthouse has a great location at Loch Ness for excursions.

Actually the hotel was not operating during the period. So they moved us to the other hotel which is under the same umbrella towards Inverness, since we booked earlier than their decision. We enjoyed the hotel, room, dinner and breakfast. The staff were excellent in many ways. During that period, the hotel was actually closed. Consequently, we were asked to be relocated to another hotel affiliated with the same group, between Inverness and the Clansman. We had a delightful experience at the alternative hotel, enjoying our accommodations, dinner, and breakfast. The staff exhibited excellence in various aspects of service.

Located in a small town, this property has a really good bar and restaurant. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and the staff was helpful. They have a fully equipped kitchen which can be used by guests. Since there were not many guests, they gave me an entire 4 bed dorm room to myself. Not very social, partially because there were not many guests during winter but the property is worth the price and very centrally located at Loch Ness.

The whole building, to start. So impressive! The stairs up were a challenge but worth the effort. The key in a box with our name made me feel welcome! Immense room, a similarly huge bathroom and the communal area quite incredible. The fridge full of goodies and breakfast all packed-up waiting for the morning. The tranquillity, the view, the wildlife. Out of the 6 places we stayed, this was my favourite.

    We had 2 of the garden rooms here which are ensuite. They are compact units in the grounds, separate to the main building. The single beds were a bit worn out and creaking , but sleep-able As a 5.10 man I found my head and feet would touch the bed boards These are minor issues but they were there. As a location we could not ask for more. It was the bed for the night. With of street parking. Fab restaurant across the road (pub) and 2x coffee places in the morning.

    We stayed in one of the triple bedrooms that access directly to the outside. The room had comfortable beds and acceptable ensuite, which were all clean. There is a communal kitchen, dining and lounge area which are functional and clean. Off street parking in front of rooms. Ideally located for our one-night stay, with pub, restaurant and cafe next door.
