The hutch is quite luxurious, well above the standard of comparable places we had in Costa Rica. The balcony at the back of the house has splendid views with lots of birds and butterflies flying and buzzing around. Hosts (including the two dogs) are really nice and friendly.

We arrived at 3pm at the place appeared deserted we looked for 30 minutes trying to figure out how to check in. We finally left so we weren’t on the steep roads after dark.

Lili! She is amazing! She can organise all your tours and she is so smiley and lovely. She also does a fantastic breakfast included in the price. The rooms are small but have everything you need and given the price, they are great value. The house is only about 20 minutes walk outside town so it's easy to get to. The walk out of town is mostly downhill. You can drink the tap water here. The kitchen is great, fully equipped and with all equipment in good working order. Everything about our stay was perfect.

This hotel is an experience! It was the best hotel that I have ever been. It was the best part of our trip. It was very clean, and had all the equipment and perfect products for breakfast. Whoever visits Monteverde should go to this hotel.

Clean and spacious bungalow, excellent value for money, just a short distance outside Monteverde. Great choice for staying in Monteverde, easy to reach with the car. The staff at reception could only speak Spanish, but that was not a problem for us (and in any case, there is always google translate, or similar). Very comfortable accommodation - highly recommended. Also appreciated the washer/dryer.

Clean, nice equipped and comfy bungalow with a stunning view into the nature. Jennifer and Jose are such lovely hosts. They prepared really good breakfast and dinner with fresh ingredients from the farm. The coffee tour was amazing and we learned many new things about their sustainable farm. Furthermore they helped us with planning our further trip.

This is a family run B&B. Elisabeth and her family do everything they can to let the guests have as good experience as they can have. The service was superb! And Elisabeth is such a nice and humble person. You live in your cabin hut in the forest but still with all the commodities that you need. Imagine waking up to the sound of nature right outside your window. We didn't see or hear any monkeys during our stay but apparently they reside in the surroundings sometimes. (We did hope to hear them walk on our roof, but we weren't that lucky.) We heard about this place from another couple that really liked it but they said that they couldn't sleep because of all the sound from the forest animals (which is what we also hoped for). In our case, we slept as babies and were NOT disturbed by those sounds. The breakfast was very good and according to our wish. Elisabeth arranged a night walk in the forest as well (additional cost) and the tour guide Brenda did an awesome job showing us the forest night life. In all, we recommend this place very much.

Amazing family owned hotel. Randall is here to make his guests at home. The breakfasts are delicious, the park of the hotel is full of birds and there is even a little trail to go watch the sunset.
