Yann’s dedication to creating a welcoming and tranquil environment truly shines through in every aspect of the shelter. Don’t forget to book an incredible massage during your stay! Very peaceful location and stay, spacious communal kitchen, comfortable room with good shower, Glenda and Chalo (fluent in English) were excellent with plenty of information about tours, restaurants and things to see, pool was great for a refreshing dip at the end of the day, Bela the dog is very friendly, I would definitely stay here again

The tent and the facilities were very well made. Everything was comfortable and working, tent was very nicely decorated.. It was clear that the comfort of the guests was the priority for Wilma and Franco. They were both so welcoming. Mosquito repellents and nets were provided. Everything was very clean. Only cold water shower but it is so hot there that you would not really want warm water anyway. Howler monkeys in the trees on the property and parrots flying above the trees. There was a resident iguana sleeping under my tent and greeting me in the morning, but it was just a little shy so I kept the distance. Also a coati was roaming near the tents. Very peaceful area to just be one with the nature, only sounds you hear are the monkeys and birds. There is a little hike to the beach. And many activities to choose from in nearby areas in this part of the Nicoya peninsula.

We stayed at the jungle tent for one night as we had arranged to do the Bioluminescence tour with Franco. The location is just perfect, it’s at the end of a long track and is surrounded by forest. The jungle tent was a really good size and it was a short walk to the showers and toilets. The wildlife around the tent was great, we saw a variety of birds, frogs, crabs and howler monkeys. We did the Bioluminescence tour in the evening which was excellent and a really good social with Franco, his assistant and another couple. Afterwards we returned and Franco and Wilma lit a fire for us and joined us for a drink. The reception we received was very warm and Franco and Wilma are lovely people and can’t do enough to help. In the morning we walked to the beach, the dogs joined us and showed us the way. This took around 20 minutes. The beach is wonderful, it’s large and empty. We saw red Macaw there. The visit felt very authentic and a bit of the touristy track which we enjoyed. I highly recommend it.

All the staff were friendly and accommodation was as described. Location was great listening to the sounds of the monkeys outside bedroom window. Numerous birds and wildlife roaming around the garden by the seating area. Local facilities within walking distance. Would highly recommend staying here.

First of all it is a gem in the mountains of Nicoya where howler monkeys wander all around the property. The hotel is even more worth visiting for the excellent service. I have never seen such attentive and friendly staff in Costa Rica. The infinity pool is very relaxing and was used by our kids a lot

    We loved the little pool, the hot water, the friendly staff, the nice pillows, how clean the rooms were, easy parking, great wifi, and the easy check in with the passcode locks! We also really appreciate being able to check in early. Would definitely stay here again!
