The spa facilities were great. We enjoyed using the jacuzzi / hot tub & Sauna. Very clean and spacious apartment. A large selection of tv channels to watch. Wim made us feel welcome and was very helpful. She made us feel at home. The apartment is very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was very delicious, all freshly prepared and plentiful. A nice coffee machine to give you a great coffee with breakfast. You can eat indoors or in the garden. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend if you would like a relaxing and comfortable holiday.

Dear Francine & Philippe, We wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional hospitality you extended to us during our recent stay in Aalst. From the moment we arrived, your warm welcome made us feel right at home. The apartment it is modern furnishings, sleek appliances, and impeccable taste truly made it a haven during our time in Aalst. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, from the comfortable bed to the thoughtful extra touches throughout the space very well-equipped bathroom, and very good Wi-Fi. We found ourselves lacking nothing, as the apartment was equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location, too, was ideal. Being close to the city center allowed us to easily explore all that Aalst has to offer, while the tranquil garden provided a perfect retreat for relaxation after a day of sightseeing. From beginning to end, our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we can confidently say that this was one of the best stays we've had, especially with my wife. We cherished every moment and left with fond memories, already dreaming of the possibility of returning in the future. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts provided special treats. Location was perfect for visiting surrounding towns and cities. The hosts were friendly attentive and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The room and breakfast room and outdoor area were inviting and worked well.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – delicious, varied, and clearly prepared with care. It was the perfect start to each day. As a Londoner accustomed to the city's constant buzz, my stay at La Maison de Nikolas in Oosterzele, Belgium, was a rejuvenating escape into tranquillity. Nestled amidst lush greenery, this charming retreat offered the perfect blend of comfort and nature. The apartment itself was spacious and impeccably maintained, featuring two cozy bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchenette. The highlight, however, was the private terrace overlooking a serene garden—ideal for morning coffees and evening relaxation. What truly set this place apart were the luxurious amenities. The outdoor swimming pool and the sauna provided a spa-like experience right at our doorstep. After days spent exploring nearby Ghent and Bruges, these facilities were a welcome indulgence. Speaking of location, La Maison de Nikolas is perfectly situated. Just a short drive from the historic cities of Ghent and Bruges, we found it easy to immerse ourselves in Belgian culture and cuisine before retreating to our peaceful haven. The electric bikes enabled us to explore the green neighbourhood as well. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed. In summary, La Maison de Nikolas offered a delightful contrast to city life—a place where one can unwind, recharge, and appreciate the simple pleasures of the countryside. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene getaway with easy access to Belgium's cultural gems.
