When I came to Iwaso it was a perfect, the staff was very kind and helpfull and the room was big and comfy. We had 2 night stay it Iwaso and we really enjoy everything there. There was a terrace with a beautiful view adding on to the comfort of the room. The dinner was traditional Japanese-style and for sure it should not be missed! The multi-course kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and very delicious, including fresh, local, seasonal ingredients. The hotel's location is good for visiting the Itsukushima Torii (Water gate) as it is just one station away from it but at the same time away from the madness of the island.

The ryokan is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The staff was extremely nice and took care of us. The room and its view were breath taking. They even helped me with my food allergy and made sure I can eat the food they are offering. The room was quiet with some ocean waves splashing into the shore sounds.
