Abel Tasman Haven está en Marahau, a 5 min a pie de Playa de Marahau, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. Due to the (previous day's windy) weather the ferry from the North Island was delayed by around 4 hours leaving Wellington and arriving in Picton and in addition we were detoured due to a traffic incident enroute and arrived therefore late - after 8pm. Good and forthcoming communication of the circumstances with the landlady, Rose, on alternative ways to pick up the keys to our two chalets upon arrival. Rose ended up welcoming us in person after all. In addition to two charming four legged companions including the 18 year old cat. The two chalets (split between parents and son and daughter) were modern, well presented and provided what we needed. Nice sitting space on the front porch. Parking next to the chalet. Close to the starting point of the path into Abel Tasman NP. Rose was very helpful trying to organize water taxi however the weather next morning was too bad for the water taxi provider to offer any scenic tours. Still, we much appreciated her advise on places to eat and hikes to do in the morning given the weather forecast warning of more rain to come in the afternoon.

El Queen Street Studios, situado en Richmond, cuenta con 2 restaurantes, propiedad de los propietarios independientes. Our unit #14 was excellent..very clean and the best shower in our travels.

The motel manager accommodated well for our late arrival and organized breakfasts for us for our early departure the following morning. The communication was quick and helpful. The motel rooms are spotless, clean, and well taken care of. Our stay was a pleasant surprise.

El Parkside Motel, situado a menos de 20 minutos a pie del centro comercial Richmond Mall y de los viñedos cercanos, ofrece un alojamiento moderno con patio y piscina climatizada de temporada. Lovely staff and we loved the spacious two Brm apartment. Well equipped kitchen too.

El Anatoki Lodge Motel se encuentra en Takaka, a 18 km de Golden Bay, y ofrece zona de barbacoa. Todos los alojamientos del motel tienen vistas al jardín y WiFi gratuita. We loved our room here. We did have the two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and comfortable. It’s such a sweet touch that they offer you milk for your morning coffee in a little jug. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town in a couple minutes. The town is awesome. Several wonderful coffee shops with delicious food and lots of hippie vibes stores.

Murchison Motels está en Murchison y ofrece alojamiento de 4 estrellas con jardín. Hay terraza, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Very impressed with the size of the room. It was clean and well presented with an extra large bed. Great kitchen facilities and a very large bathroom. The motel was well off the road with parking outside the unit. The small town was a quick walk down the road to the local hotel, Four Square and small shops. It was only a few minutes away from the Buller Gorge Adventure Park
