The apartment was incredibly cool, cozy, and beautifully decorated — every detail of the ambiance felt thoughtfully curated, making it feel like a true home away from home. The host, Namal, was extremely helpful and made sure all our needs were taken care of. A special mention to their wonderful caretaker, Qasim, who was so kind and accommodating — he generously provided us with coffee, creamers, and sugar whenever we asked. The kitchen was well-equipped with all kinds of appliances and cutlery, which made it very convenient for us. We especially loved the decorative touches and the overall vibe of the space. If I could rate it out of 10, I’d happily give it a 100! 🥰 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay in Nuwara Eliya.

After moving from hotel to hotel, it felt so nice to come into a warm and comfortable home with a cozy bed. And I liked that dinner and breakfast takes place at a big family table with other guests, once again it felt cozy. But above all, I have to give credit to the incredible service we received. I arrived with a very bad cold, slight fever, etc. Soon after we arrived and he saw I was sick, Madhavan came to our room with a steaming bowl with ginger and lime leaves and some ayurvedic medicine to help with my congestion. He repeated the same action twice more during our stay, and was so so kind, bringing me tea constantly, asking how I was, etc. All the employees at the hotel were above and beyond with their service and attention, and Madhavan's kindness with me will be remembered long after our trip. Oh - and they have a gorgeous swing in the garden where you can lounge about and read on. If you're tired of staying in impersonal hostals and are looking for a cozy stay in a big comfortable house, look no further :)

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. I especially want to mention the staff, absolutely everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful. Saskia Ambu helped us throughout our stay, helped us order a taxi and tuk-tuk, explained to the drivers where to take us and what we needed to find. A good attitude was manifested even in non-obvious things, such as giving us water to take with us in the car, treating us to a Sri Lankan dish and giving us a free visit to the sauna, but unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was delicious, dining room was clean, service was fast and high quality. Again all the staff are absolutely amazing. I also want to mention the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Wifi worked well and we were even able to watch a TV series from it.

Rooms at the Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya recall the Tea Estate era, with dark wooden flooring and classic furniture. They are fitted with satellite TV, a sofa and a tea maker. Staff was amazing, accommodating, kind. Room with a great view of the valley, plantations, train. Facilities were charming and well kept. Food was great, specially their signature dish.
