Featuring lake views, Arctic Gourmet Cabin in Kiruna features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Buffet and continental breakfast options are available at the lodge. Magical accommodation during the winter time. Breakfast was very good, staff lovely, accommodation so cosy, open outdoor fire, sauna and hot tub.

Kiruna Train Station is 23 km from the lodge, while Kiruna Bus Station is 21 km away. Kiruna Airport is 17 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Good location for northern lights. The frozen lake is just by the side of the Camp.

Aurora Camp Kurravaara offers a range of accommodation from simple cabins and cottages without running water, to unique glass huts and private fully equipped cabins. In the summer Aurora Camp Kurravaara also offers tree tents. Bed linen and towels are always included. We had a great time at the Aurora Camp. The hut had everything we needed and the private sauna with the instruction video was great. It would have been nice to provide more small firewood to start the fire but we collected it around the camp. The sauna heats up really fast and it's great fun to jump into the cold lake after using it. As expected there were many mosquitoes but the hut has a screen door which was very helpful.

Arctic Island - Remote island, reachable only by boat or snowmobile offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 18 km of Kiruna Train Station and 15 km of Kiruna Bus Station.

LKAB Visitor Centre is 18 km from the lodge, while Esrange Space Center is 31 km from the property. Kiruna Airport is 11 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Location is perfect for watching aurora
