Simple yet delicious Sri Lankan food is available nearby. The room doesn’t feel hot, so there’s no need for air conditioning. I didn’t even use the fan. It’s a perfect place to relax and recharge after exploring the mountains and local sights. Getting to the center of Kandy is easy: take a tuk-tuk or hop on a local bus, which runs frequently. The host is an incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive person, always ready to assist with anything you need. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He also has a wonderful dog, which makes the place feel even more welcoming. A pleasant surprise for me was that they sort waste here, which is rare to see. For just $13 a night, you won’t find a better place to stay in Kandy!

Photos hardly do this place justice, unlike other places in Sri Lanka i feel it exceeds what you think it would be.Cloud resort was 100% our favorite accommodation and location on our 2 week visit to Sri Lanka. It is the most beautiful location with breathtaking views, our room had a panoramic view of the valley, which we could see from our bed. Sunset and sundown, such a spoil. Our private butler brought meals to our room, we were treated like royalty. We only stayed 2 nights, we were on a tight schedule, but it is the kind of place you should stay a minimum of 5 nights. The mountain walks to whatch the sunset, the pinawala is super close , the old tea factory is amazing, and just finding peace for your soul. The rooms are incredible, every small detail was crafted and curated by the owners ( family), and is such a treat to discover all the attention to detail and thoughtful comforts. Our bed was a highlight, it was a swing suspended from the ceiling, we have never slept so well being gently rocked to dream land. Inthi was an an incredible host, gave us lots of privacy, but always there if we needed anything. He was super helpful with directions, excursions, and just general info and the history of Sri Lanka. I loved meeting him. Butttt all this said...... the food!!!!!! Oh my word is was blown away, up to this point of our travels the food never blew me away....... but I would definitely recommend having all your meals there. It was beautiful, fragrant, and delicious!!!!!!!!! One of our top stays we have ever been to by far. This lodge offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. We had an amazing one-night stay at Tedro Homestay and would absolutely give them 5 stars! The room was spotless and very well maintained, making it super comfortable. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. Such wonderful, kind people. I’d highly recommend Tedro Homestay to anyone looking for a clean, cozy stay with the friendliest hosts!

Providing mountain views, Paradise Point Nature Cabana Kandy in Kande provides accommodation, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. The venue, arrangement, food and hospitality were all top tier. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

So quiet, peaceful, you are lost in the mountains with a stunning view and just a minute away from a nice walk in the tea plantation. Even though you are a bit lost you have everything you need. Food is delicious. Highly recommend you to visit this place for an authentic experience. Also you might be guided by a very cute and incredible dog named Rocky who will take care of you. One of our best experience in Sri Lanka as regard to enjoy the nature and food.
