We called ahead to advise we would be late for check in, won't bore with details, and Sandra was fantastic. Despite our late timing we were greeted very warmly with hot towels and a welcome drink. Check in was very relaxed. We also received an upgrade which was a treat and the accommodation was beautiful. Food was excellent, staff all very friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again if we are back this eay.

The staff was accomodating and friendly, food was very good and our safari guide, Dominic was the very best guide we have had after several trips to Africa.

We had an absolutely beautiful week at Kobe Mara, in the Masai Mara Conservancy. We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

The staff are incredible. I felt extremely welcome and comfortable. John cooked me incredible meals. My game drives with Jonathan were absolutely perfect-i saw 7 cheetahs in 2 days had breakfasts and lunches in the most incredible places. Wilson took such good care of me and even walked with me to the local market. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. The food was absolutely delicious, with each meal perfectly prepared and presented. From hearty breakfasts to exquisite dinners under the stars, the culinary experience rivaled the best we’ve had anywhere. The camp’s environment added a thrilling layer to our adventure. With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. In short, Drunken Elephant Mara delivered an unforgettable slice of wilderness wrapped in comfort and care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adventurous yet refined escape.

El campamento Sarova Mara Game Camp se encuentra en plena reserva de caza de Masái Mara, rodeado por 2 arroyos y junto a una aldea masái, y cuenta con árboles exóticos y un gran estanque repleto de... First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.
