The dinner was amazing. I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).

Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B está en Chino y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. El lodge ofrece TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con artículos de aseo gratuitos, secador de pelo y bidet. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge dispone de vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Yamanouchi, a 20 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani. Amazing place! So cozy and welcoming. Staff are so sweet!

El establecimiento Pension Tomato se encuentra a 10 minutos en coche de la estación de esquí de Hakuba Happo-One Winter y ofrece habitaciones amplias de estilo occidental con zona de loft. Private Onsen, beautifully built. Onsen time scheduled for 45 minutes so everyone can get his turn without stress. Multi Onsen booking possible. The owners (a very nice couple) deserve the title of „best hosts ever“. They printed out train schedules and circled the trains we had to catch, they helped us plan a daytrip, they drove us to the next hotel, so we didn’t have to get a cab. If I could, I would even give additional stars for this pension. I will certainly return.

A 10 minutos a pie de Happo One Ski Resort, los huéspedes del Log Cottage Epoch pueden alquilar una casa entera. We loved the cottage and the sleeping floor. The kitchen was well equipped and the living room was very comfortable. The area was quiet and the staff extra nice! Playground area for children was very much appreciated by our daughter as well as the super mini train experience!
