I had a great time and best experience during my stay.

The dinner was amazing. I was definitely worth coming here for the food. It was raining when we arrived but the next day it was beautiful. The pension was located in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend.

Pension Moomin Papa está en Myoko, a 31 km de Templo Zenkoji y a 33 km de Estación de Nagano, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, jardín y salón de uso común. Papa was so lovely. It was a beautiful traditional guest house. I had breakfast too and it was lovely. I also really appreciated lifts too and from ski school and to the train station. It was honestly such a beautiful stay and I will be back. For any solo travellers, it was a very family vibe and I felt very welcome. Thank you Papa!

Uchimaru Hakuba se encuentra en Hakuba, en la región de Nagano, cerca de Estación de esquí Happo One y Terminal de autobuses Happo de Hakuba. The location next to the bus stop and walking distance to downtown was great. The owner was very patient and helpful and answered my many questions.

El Belle Vue Nishiura se encuentra en Minami Uonuma, en la región de Niigata, a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de esquí Ishiuchi-Maruyama, y ofrece acceso directo a las pistas de esquí y... Nishiura Hotel (Bellevue) is a real hidden gem. Nestled in the Japanese Alps, it is ideally located in the middle of a major winter sports area, along with many onsen (hot springs) spots including one onsite. The host is most gracious and goes the extra mile for his guests. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Sakka Sanso está en Hakuba y ofrece alojamiento con terraza o balcón, wifi gratis y TV de pantalla plana, además de jardín y salón de uso común. Close to mountain, ski in and ski out. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Marushige ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado y TV de pantalla plana, y está a 22 km de Ryuoo Ski Park y a 33 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani. Our favourite thing about the property was the wonderful and welcoming host, Yuki. He was extremely helpful and it is thanks to him and his mother that Marushige is run so brilliantly. Our room was traditional Japanese style and extremely cosy - although we were sleeping on futons on the floor we were very warm. The shared bathroom was very clean and all of the other guests were very respectful. The location was perfect for both getting to the slopes on foot, visiting local onsens and getting dinner along the Main Street. One night we had dinner at Marushige and it was fantastic, we ate some very refined local cuisine - they even served us a local delicacy of horse meat sashimi (I have to admit that I could not eat it as I don’t really eat meat but my husband tried it).

Pension Belnina está en Hakuba, en la región de Nagano, cerca de Estación de esquí Happo One y Terminal de autobuses Happo de Hakuba. Taka is amazing and such a cool guy, he arranged alt accommodation for us when his place was booked and dropped us off, shuttled our luggage back and forth, boiled eggs for me, had nice yarns with him. His partner and daughter are also amazing so friendly and welcoming! They invited us to a tea ceremony to celebrate the spring coming which was an awesome experience and added bonus to the snowboarding for which we came! Highly, highly recommended if you're coming to Hakuba!!

ノマの森 Nomanomori B&B está en Chino y dispone de wifi gratis, jardín, terraza y bar. El lodge ofrece TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con artículos de aseo gratuitos, secador de pelo y bidet. The hosts are kind and thoughtful and gave us very good advice for dinner locally and for our next destination. Best of all, the breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day. Our room was small, but we knew that when we booked so we were not bothered by that in any way. Aovely way to break up the trip from Tokyo to Kamikochi if you have a car and it is worth a visit just for the sake of being there.

Shiga Kogen Lodge dispone de vistas a la montaña, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Se encuentra en Yamanouchi, a 20 km de Parque de los Monos de Jigokudani. Amazing place! So cozy and welcoming. Staff are so sweet!
