Jaisalmer Airport is 4 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. I booked this place for 2 nights but due to change on my plans I had to stay only for one night. The policy did not allow any modification, however Vicky (the owner) did everything possible to make my stay easier and comfortable. He accepted an early check-in, so I entered 5 hours before the normal check-in time. He also offered me free lunch and transport to get to the airport on the day of my departure. The place was just amazing! Comfortable room with a nice double bed and a spacious bathroom and good wifi. All very traditional according to the architectural style of the city. The location was unbeatable, just next to the main Haveli (traditional palace museum mansion) and very near to the other two most important Havelis (7 minutes max. walking distance) of Jaisalmer. More or less the same distance to get to the Jaisalmer Fort by foot and approximately 1km away from the Gadisar Lake which is another attraction in the city. Nonetheless, the big plus of the accommodation is its terrace! Having breakfast there or any meal is a must do thing and also get to the highest part of the terrace, offers fairly the best possible view to the Jaisalmer Fort. I recommend checking it both day and night! Overall I had a great stay there and I wish I could have stayed there for more!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy darts on site, or cycling in the surroundings. We liked the common room where we ate and could sit for conversation. We loved the beautiful views of the mountains and the outside seating that allowed us to enjoy them. We really appreciated Bablu and Rakesh. They did a great job with the food and service, and anything else we needed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a peaceful, restful atmosphere surrounded by a beautiful setting. We didn’t feel the need to leave the property at all except for a walk along the forest road.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Everything was good, the cottages, the food and hospitality. We had a wonderful time, will recommend the Bonfire at night, it was a wonderful experience.
