Jerome is a very attentive and friendly host, he organized transfer for us from the airport and back, recommended a very good local guide for excursion around the National Park and meeting the highlights. We also rented a car at Kona Koa and fully satisfied by this experience, everything was organized easy and conveniently. The house is surrounded by lovely blossoming garden, it’s clean and cozy and fully equipped with necessary household appliances and utensils. Highly recommend the place for those, who going to discover the Island!

Mataveri International Airport is 5 km from the property, and the property offers a free airport shuttle service. The property itself is excellent. However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

Everything was perfect, the room was clean and new, and very comfortable. Just a 5min walk from the airport (there's only a couple of flights per day, and only during daytime) and 15min from the main street. The shower was great, no issue with the wifi and Lanii our host took very good care of us. We would stay at the same place if we came back to Rapa Nui

Also, Patricia is super considerate and lovely. She helped me book the tours when she knew that I booked the trip last minute at a very busy season and needed help with the tour plans. When she knew that I forgot my charging blocks, she gave me two. Super helpful! I would recommend it to everyone that visits easter island.

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….
