What. A. Place. Forget all your commercial factoryrun lodges. Hesitant at first, but pleased once arrives: Muweti Bush Lodge is a product of love. Laura and Mike will go above and beyond, yet give you your space to enjoy in peace and quiet. Amazing pool, huge in comparison to many other lodges. The food is delicious and only surpassed by the sheer quantity! Big eaters are welcomed here! Mike is like an uncle that loves sharing his passion about wildlife, and when a lion roars during desert, he will jump up and drive you out for a quick drive. This is passion first, business second. Be warned, you might fall in love of the place!

The location in the middle of the bush. We had the villa which was very clean. The staff were great. The food was amazing, I requested vegetarian which was really good. The waterhole were animals come to drink. We saw all the Big 5 (we did 6 game drives). It felt like a home away from home. Will recommend it to everyone.

From the moment we arrived, the owners welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the experience. Nyati Lodge is a stunning oasis of tranquility set in 10,000 hectares of game filled reserve. We stayed in a beautiful riverside bungalow, spacious and well equipped. It was a short walk to the main buildings with the restaurant and pool. Staff were attentive and friendly across the board. There are two game drives a day, and we were lucky enough to see all Big Five animals during our two day stay, a testament to the guides’ expertise. When not on drive there was a gym, driving range and pétanque pitch for those who fancied an activity, and hammocks, comfortable chairs and a pool for those who would rather relax. The food was of a high quality both in taste and presentation. We had an absolutely fantastic few days and would highly recommend to anyone looking to go on safari in the Kruger!

Naledi Lodges lies within the Balule Game Reserve and is located 25 km from Hoedspruit. It boasts panoramic views of the African savannah and features an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar.

Amazing safari drives, impeccable service and true luxury. Saw the Big 5 on the first drive, but the true difference from Krueger is the possibility to drive off-road thus get very close to the animals, be it rhino's or lions

The property was very good, had great facilities such as a nice pool area and the honesty bar. The staff were amazing and really made us feel like family. We even went out for a meal with them on our final evening. Bianca the chef was amazing, all her meals were so good and diverse. Selby our game driver was the best we could’ve asked for, he was amazing at spotting all the animals and taught us so much, was a genuinely nice guy aswell. We already want to come back and will miss all of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to do a safari. We had a perfect experience. The hospitality was amazing aswell, they really do all the little details that made our trip so good.

Chef-kok Riri made the best food! From breakfast to dinner: 10/10. Even when we went out they prepacked a lunch for us which was yummy! The hosts Victoria and Paul were very kind, flexible and helpful and provided us with everything we needed. The location was so perfect and so peaceful with a beautiful garden. Just loved it. Also the room was very nice (with airconditioning yes!)

Surrounded by nature and wildlife, Greenfire Game Lodge is located inside the Balule Game Reserve. It offers a viewing deck, dining room and outdoor pool.

e had a great time at Greenfire Game Lodge and definitely recommend to stay there! The chalets are very modern and stylish (even better than the pics); all having a terrace facing the river where often animals walk by. The food was excellent and the staff very nice. One evening we had an African barbecue which was great (the other evenings is was too cold to sit outside). We made the game drives and a bush walk with Given who is a very engaged and experienced guide. He is very mindful about the animals and the nature, e.g. we appreciated that there is no off-road driving to protect the animals. We saw the big 5 and also wild dogs and - for sure - a lot of other animals. On most of our drives we were only the four of us, i.e. they do not "fill-up" the cars up to the last place. Very nice! Carol and Nigel, the owners of the lodge, stay there and we had a lot of nice and interesting conversations.
