United KingdomVery comfortable and charming accommodation with the ‘Bear’ theme throughout. Everything you need for a stay was provided and great location for trains, boat trips from marina and Safeway only a short walk away. Our host Shari went over and above with her hospitality.

He was quick to offer suggestions for excursions, and even had some for us in Homer, our next stop. The lodge location is ideal. It’s close to the glacier, the sled dog tours, town with restaurants, shops and bars, as well as the port for boat excursions. Also, right next door is a restaurant and the food was delicious. After taking the long drive from Denali in, it was welcome news to hear we could dine without getting back in the car again.Guest review byjackGroup

Great coffee downstairs from early morning and hot water available all the time. Good size rooms with hair dryer and coffee. Near Exit glacier , slightly outside town.
