The Zanbluu is pure paradise. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The hotel feels so private, and we always felt like the only people there. The food is delicious, we tried so many dishes and all were wonderful, local and traditional. 10/10. The Zanbluu blew us away, completely exceeded pur expectations, and we would return in a heartbeat.

It’s a good location close to the beach and restaurants. The lodge is beautiful with lawnchairs and lounges outside in a nice garden. Beachchairs available at 2 locations by the beach, only 5 min away. Breakfast was also great. Staff is very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay a lot. Thank you!

Beautiful space very close to the beach. The beach is miles long with fine white sand and clean water, just beautiful. The pool and residence are also amazing if you just want to chill. The Manager and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good! The area is a mix of local vibes and resorts. It was a great introduction to Zanzibar. Definitely highly recommended (and we had looked at innumerable other options in the same budget range). Shanuo is minimal yet rich. It's beautifully designed. The room was very comfortable and a joy to wake up in, especially when it was time for breakfast on the balcony! The staff were friendly and professional. We loved the homestay warmth with resort-level details and comfort. Note: counter to some older reviews, the fan was brand new and super silent, and the mosquito net was in excellent shape.

The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented . Lots of choice for both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and that combined with the incredible ocean view , beautiful clean lodges and wonderfully prepared food means that we will definitely be coming back . It was the most perfect place to unwind and relax. Thank you to Martin and his team for an incredible week in Paradise.
