We loved the surroundings and staff. Rooms are a little older, but very clean and comfortable. Pool was really nice and well maintained. River tubing was fun, but a little hike to get to the entry and exit. We rented a car and drove from Belize City. Was easy to find, but road to the lodge was a bit rough and steep. Missed my AWD/4X4 on the last 2 miles. Meals there were excellent. We did not do the all inclusive. Overall it felt like a land based cruise where our family could do individual things during the day and we could meet up for meals and time at the pool easily.

Back home again we have so great memories of our nice stay at Yuma’s Riverfront Lodge. We enjoyed so much everything, well decorated and clean cabanas, the sound of nature, the wonderful terrace to relax, the refreshing swimmingpool, delicious breakfast, …. You feel like far away from everything but close to the city, restaurants, etc. Just book it, you will not regret it! Thanks Christelle and we wish you all the luck for the future!

Hidden Valley proved idyllic for my wife and me. The location, high up in the Mayo Mountains, is unique, with endless picturesque trails that take you to beautiful waterfalls and clear blue pools where you can swim to cool off, all the time surrounded by a huge variety of colourful birds. The accommodation couldn’t be better, well furnished with comfortable beds and good hot showers. The food is superb, the coffee perfect, and the staff friendly and helpful, with a commendable approach to conservation and nature.

This property is immaculate - the attention to detail is unlike anything I have previously experienced. The staff all introduced themselves to us upon arrival and not once did they forget our names, our likes/dislikes in the restaurant or bar. It is private, quiet, surrounded by wildlife. The food is impeccable with lots of traditional dishes to choose from. Nothing was too much to ask - I cannot recommend this property more.

Calm and cozy cabana in the jungle. You could hear the birds and animals while chilling in your hammock on the porch. Property is next to the Belize river so ideal for a refreshing swim. When lucky you can swim with the otters. Madeline and Abby were very sweet and helpful. Giving us a lot of tips on what to do and see in the neighborhood. Home cooked breakfast and dinner were great. You also have the option to use the kitchen and cook something yourself. Madeline gave us an amazing tour of the property and showed us the mayan ruins. Good location for visiting the ATM cave, San Ignacio and Mountain Pine Ridge Forest.

The location is great! You feel like you are in the jungle. The highlight was just having a drink on our private balcony with a river view listening to all the animals and birds as the sun sets. Very quiet hotel and we spent many hours by the pool with the family reading and playing board games. We are a family of five and really liked to have two adjacent River View Studios. We had our own private house with a shared balcony between the two studios. The staff were very nice and helpful in preparing day trips.

The staff knows what you need even before you need it! Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff. Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.

I really can’t say enough about Marcela and her staff. From working with me on a mistaken booking date to rescuing us in a storm when our rental car got stuck in the mud on the way to a waterfall. Eva and another staff member brought us back the next morning in a large 4x4 truck and we were able to pull the SUV out of the mud with a tow strap. Thank you!!!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating, the on-site cooks made delicious meals every day for breakfast and dinner. The pool and hammocks made for an extremely relaxing experience. It was nice to just be outside of the hustle and bustle of San Ignacio. We stayed in the guacamaya lodge.

Luxurious stay by the river. Don't be shy to ask for pickup by the owner in a 4x4 if your vehicle can't make it on a rainy day. It is worth the effort. The lodges are superbly furnished.

This is a very nice property located outside of San Ignacio. It’s meant to be more of a remote, jungle experience in nice little individual lodges. It is only about a 10 minute taxi to the center of town. If you are looking to be in walking distance then better to stay in town, but if looking for a hideaway this was a very nice spot!

The property and lodges are beautiful, even better than the online pictures if that’s possible. There were so many positives about our experience including the comfortable beds, view of the sunrise from our room, privacy of the lodge but only 5 min drive to downtown, the sweetest puppies on the property, and the most welcoming hosts that ensured we had everything we could ever need. All of our tours (ATM and Tikal) were willing to pick us up from the lodge without charging any extra fees. Would highly recommend :)
