I only stayed for a few days, but the room was always clean. I had no problems with noise, even though I had a room that faced the hotel entrance and had direct access to the restaurants on the ground floor. The breakfasts in the restaurant were the best, everything was very clean and everyone was very helpful. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel and stay there.

Very nice hotel with very gentle staff. Perfect room with nice view of the mountains. The hotel is very close to boulders beach and a good point to start a trip to the cape peninsula.

The rooms are super comfortable, making your feel right at home. The ocean view is something else, and waking up to watch the sunrise from the balcony is priceless. The hotel is right across the beach, if you manage to deal with the cold water - some locals enjoying the beach from sunrise. The breakfast options are simple, but super super tasty and more than enough. It was a delight to meet the owners as well. Lovely people!

Newly renovated, with modern facilities and you could even cook! Warm, friendly and welcoming hosts, very communicative. Fast internet was perfect for working, and walking distance to the penguins and the main street with restaurants. I would've happily stayed here for one month!

Besides having all our needs catered to, the little things like quality chocolates added to our bedside everyday was great. The property is extremely well maintained and Ray and Sancha are continuously adding things to improve one's experience. We wanted a lovely getaway to just relax and celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary ❤️ 1 Mountain Road Boutique ticked all the boxes for a romantic stay. Loved every minute of it

Being a boutique hotel, everything was cozy, intimate and comfortable. It's wonderful to wake up to the sounds of the ocean and the penguins, who are just not cute and noisy, but apparently, they bite! Kirsty, Nelson and team were exceptionally warm and welcoming. Simon's Town has a certain charm to it. We ate out at Dixie's. The food was great and the cocktails packed a punch.
