Great place to stay if you’re traveling to Lisbon

The experience at this hotel was beyond words. Excellent location since it was a 10 minute walk from the Belem Cultural Center where my conference took place. The room was large and very comfortable. It included a sitting area within the room. The window was very large and as a result the room had always light. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. That cleaning lady even folded my nightgown every day. The bed has huge, always well made with obviously clean and ironed sheets and a very comfortable mattress. The room was made early in the morning (instead of at 3 or 4 pm). The breakfast was excellent. A large variety of products, including very fresh fruit and everything else you may desire. The personnel was beyond words polite, warm and professional (but not in the cold meaning of the word). I am not sure what else to write. It was one of the few times (and I travel quite often) that I felt that this hotel, which was not cheap, was worth every penny!!!

I liked the staff, very welcoming, explaining everything you need to know. Breakfast had it all and the quality of products was very good.

We love As Janelas Verdas and we have stayed there before. By way of thanks they upgraded us to a junior suite, which was wonderful. It is a special place to stay, the staff are great and the area around full of interesting eateries. And, of course, the library is such a special space.
