The park was very close to Tongariro National Park, which made things very convenient for our hiking plans. The communal kitchen was clean and had nice equipment, the dishes they provided made cooking meals easy, and they provided the room with a minifridge that helped as well. It was perfect for campers and hikers who are hoping to have a comfy bed after tent camping or hiking a lot!

I loved our host Alan. The space was very comfortable and cozy, and we especially appreciated the generous breakfast. the cedar tub was a wonderful perk, and the location was perfect for accessing hikes in Tongariro.
