Extraordinary location on the shore of the fjord, with view toward the surrounding mountains on the opposite side. Vast facilities with balconies, decks and gardens where to relax. Astonishing swimming pool that we didn't have the chance to try for lack of time. Incredible breakfast and buffet dinner, with amazing choices. Passenger ferry stops just next door.

The room was spacious and the view amazing looking over the fjord. It was very comfortable and staff friendly. Meals were great and the position very convenient for arriving and getting around.

The hotel was built in the 1800s so there were decorated with antiques. But the rooms were kept nice and spacious. The staff was very friendly in telling us the history. So near the best attraction Voss waterfall.

Tyssedal Hotel is by the Hardangerfjorden at the foot of the Hardangervidda Mountains, 6 km north of central Odda. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free sauna access.

Lovely hotel that is perfectly situated to Trolltunga. You can rent hiking equipment here and it is only a 20 min drive to the P3 car park. They also provide packed lunch / packed breakfast for your hike, which is very nice and thoughtful gesture. The food at the restaurant was also surprisingly good - we had the apple cake and steak and it was delicious. The room was very spacious and the shower was piping hot and powerful, which is great after a long hike. we had a nice view of the fjord from our room. the breakfast selection was excellent!! very good hot options with awesome pasta and sausages and also a wide array of toppings that you can use to pack your lunch for Trolltunga.

This hotel is located by Lake Sandvevatnet in the village of Odda, close to the Hardangervidda National Park and Folgefonna Glacier Park. The centre of Odda is 2.1 km away.

- The view from the room was impressive. - The personnel was friendly. - Cleanliness. - Hot shower! - 25 min walk to Odda center After reading the reviews I wasn’t sure of what to expect but oh my expectations were exceeded. The location is great.
