Well placed, roughly five minutes from the main Ikebukuro station and within walking distance of Sunshine City. It’s on the Yamanote line too, so easy to get to major travel locations like Shibuya, Harajuku, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable, my group was three people and we had a good amount of space and were very comfortable. There’s cooking and entertainment facilities in the room, which was nice when we were tired and just wanted to relax in the evening. Of note — hotel rooms in Tokyo are notorious for being quite small and cramped, but the rooms at Mimaru are huge by comparison. The staff were friendly and helpful as well.

The hotel is situated in an exceptional location in Shinjuku which is a perfect transportation for train n buses. The customer services is outstanding from check in, bfast to checked out! We were staying on its popular Grand Premier which has access to the Grand Club Lounge that serves wonderful array of food, drinks and snack but the best bit is, you get to see the whole of Tokyo Skyline from the 45th Floor! We were traveling with a 4-month-old baby, and the hotel upgraded us to a fantastic room with a garden and skyline views of Tokyo. The room was spacious, with a great bathtub and shower area, super comfortable beds, and an impeccable cleaning service. Additionally, the hotel onsen has not only a warm water pool but also a cool one and a jacuzzi pool with extended timetables. The area is quiet, surrounded by parks, nice restaurants, and cafes, and it is very well-connected to the city's most touristy areas. Bonus: it has a Family Mart in the same building and six washing machines. We’ll repeat for sure.

The room was very spacious for Tokyo! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I booked this stay for my partners birthday and it felt really special. The restaurant and bar downstairs were also lovely and it's very well located for exploring Akihabara as well as other areas in Tokyo. Staff were very friendly and helped with sending luggage to our next hotel. I would stay here again.

    Very tidy apartment, recent renovation by the looks. Conveniently located very close to waseda tram which made it super easy to get to various train stations. As we were going to Olympic stadium and baseball daily, the bus to and from waseda university made this easy and stress free (only a 5min flat walk).
