The room was nice and clean. The bedding was exceptional. I loved the hardness of mattress and pillow, and the sheet was so smooth. I slept like a baby for two nights. I enjoyed complementary alcohol and coffee at the lounge on 3F. They had a fire pit and you can enjoy BBQ marshmallows there!

Everything was great about the hotel! Most hotels in Japan are small, but this was spacious! The amenities were great, staff was helpful. Will definitely stay here if I return to Kyoto.

What a little gem this is, a beautiful room that is classy and really huge, beautiful view of the Kamo river, you are close to a lot of interesting places. Love to take a night stroll around the area. I have been in Kyoto 3 times, and this is the best hotel by far. Staffs speak good english and really friendly

The location was really great. Walking distance to a lot of the big attractions, a ton of shopping and restaurants. The staff was also amazing and having a washer/dryer in the room made this a perfect stop!

    You can visit it at day and at night.

    You can visit it at day and at night. Is like two different places with different experiences to experiment. You can find local restaurants and little Izakaya where you can eat the local cuisine. If you go, most of them only speak Japanese so you better know your way around the language. Or you can go with a guide. Eat in the river banks to enjoy a peaceful and picturesque experience.
