Fair warning: Book your tickets in advance! But, do it because this was our favorite part of our trip to Rome. To get up close and personal with the artwork, in a setting where they only let in a handful of people an hour, gave it a very intimate feel and gave us enough time to really see the sculptures and artwork.Guest review byScarletUnited States - 10.0
We loved this gallery. It did not disappoint.
We loved this gallery. It did not disappoint. However, when we got there, we did not buy tickets ahead of time and you have to wait in line. They let people in each hour so if you have the time, I suggest you get there early, or buy tickets ahead of time. The Colosseum, Pantheon, St.
The Colosseum, Pantheon, St. Peter's Basilica and Borghese Gallery were the highlights for us. The crowds at the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel were just too much for us to enjoy and appreciate it. The Borghese Gallery on the other hand is well regulated (you need reservations) and has an amazing collection of sculptures, paintings and frescoes.Guest review byAnonymous
