Loved the location. We drove there, but, it was literally opposite the train station, but, you couldn't hear anything!! It was a short walking distance to the main square, restaurants and shops.

The Hôtel Des Arts, Artisanal et Indépendant is located in the heart of Montpellier, within walking distance to the famous Place de la Comedie.

I would totally recommend Hotel des Arts - it's very conveniently located in the centre of the town, close to the main train station (Saint-Roch) and all the tram lines. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast is delicious and has a good variety without going OTT. I'd particularly recommend the hotel for those with young children - I liked the family room we had - it was a good size, with curtains between the parents' area and the kids' area. The staff were very welcoming and friendly with the kids, and there was a good selection of picture books and toys available in reception.

Renovated in 2021, Hotel Royal is located in the centre of Montpellier, just a 3-minute walk from the Montpellier Train Station and Place de la Comedie.

Excellent location right across the train station and within 5 minute walk into the centre. Even though I arrived early at noon, I already could check in and have a room. The room itself was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and seating. I could sleep with open windows facing its inner courtyard which felt great.
