One of the all-time best hotels we've stayed at! Very clean and comfortable - especially the king sized bed and amazing shower - and the most epic breakfast buffet we came across during our six weeks in Turkey, but what really puts this hotel in the 1% of hotels are the incredibly kind staff!! They really went above and beyond to ensure that we had the best possible stay (e.g. letting us check in early after taking a night bus, arranging a balloon ride at half the price quoted online, etc.) and for this reason, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Perfect view of the city and balloon flights, from top of the mountain but still well located and short walking distance from city center and restaurants. Staff was one of the best we had ever experienced: friendly, supportive, helpful and informative, mainly about itineraries and tours, understanding our needs and offering different options.

Speaking English, Spanish, Japanese and Russian, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. I was surprised by the room quality - everything seems new, nicely decorated. The room and bathroom are spacious, very clean - cleaned every day. Kettle in the room, everyday bottle of water. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent breakfast - variety of choices, buffet with a nice view:) The whole property is nicely decorated. I spent my evening on the terrace. I also appreciate that after my checkout, when I came pack for my backpack, I was able to take a shower and refresh before the flight, they even gave me the towel - very nice, thank you:) They arranged balloon flight - very nice, highly recommended and a green tour - also very recommended:)

Located on a hilltop of Goreme, Traveller's Cave Hotel features many terraces with views of Cappadocia. Guests can watch the sunrise, sunset, the hot air balloons floating over Cappadocia and the fairy chimneys. The hotel is 5 minutes' walk from Goreme's town centre. Lower deck of the property offers beautiful views of Rose Valley and an outdoor free hot tub. The staff and location was simply amazing. Its located at the highest point, gives an amazing view of Goreme. The reception took care of all our activities. We did not book anything in advance. The hotel has a private stair case from the hotel directly to city. It doesn't have a restaurant but you can call for food from outside and the staff will serve it in the breakfast room.the cave rooms are very authentic. The bathrooms are very spacious. The whole hotel has hidden corners providing a view of Goreme. The pillows weren't comfy. That's about the only "negative" review I can write.
