One of our favourite stays on a 3 week trip around the South Island! If anything the photos don’t do it justice. Peaceful and private with plenty of space and beautifully clean. We loved having BBQs on the terrace. The master bedroom was exquisite with a view onto the patio and the outdoor bath surrounded by fragrant lupins. The upstairs bedrooms were kept nicely cool by fans in the hot weather we were lucky to have. We all slept brilliantly in the big comfy beds. Laundry facilities were an added bonus for us, neatly tucked away behind sliding doors in the master - very convenient.

El Lexi's Lodge está a solo 2 minutos a pie del precioso lago Tekapo y ofrece tanto vistas a la montaña como un jardín privado con muebles de exterior. Location was great. Loved the uniquness of this cottage and great views. The grandchildren loved the novelty of the loft and especially feeding the farm animals. The adults loved the spa under the stars in the night sky, and the cosy wood fire inside after getting out of the spa. Plenty of alternative heating available in the cottage. Would highly recommend for families. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s place. Everything was so well thought out, cosy and relaxing for the perfect weekend away. The stars at night are spectacular, watching them from the Hot Tub was a real highlight. Sarah's dogs came to greet us each morning and are the most friendly adorable dogs we've ever met! Best host, best location and lovely hut. We cannot wait to come back again soon!

Best accommodation we have ever stayed in. The hot tub with snow surrounding mountains was a highlight, but the design and level of finishes was like nothing else we have stay in around the world. They have thought of everything and definitely couldn’t recommend this to anyone enough. We will be back.

The property was so peaceful and private, it made for such a relaxing stay. The hot tub was exceptional and the hosts were unbelievable friendly, turning up when we arrived to show us how to use the tub and was so welcoming.
