One of the highlights of our trip was witnessing the Northern Lights for two consecutive nights—a breathtaking display we’ll never forget. Adding to the magic, we spotted two wild moose during our stay, a surreal moment that truly connected us to the untamed beauty of the area. A special thanks to Thomas, the owner, whose kindness and attention to detail made our experience even more memorable. He helped us find exciting activities and ensured we felt welcome every step of the way. The setting of the campsite is beyond words—raw, wild, and incredibly beautiful. For anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and experience the wonders of the Arctic, this is the place to be. We wholeheartedly recommend this camping experience to anyone seeking adventure, relaxation, and a chance to witness some of the most spectacular sights on Earth. Don’t miss it!

Set in Alta, 17 km from The Rock art of Alta, Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Lovely rooms and views. Staff was friendly and very accommodating, from dining options to arranging activities. Lounge area was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Best activity for our Norway trip: dog sledding on the first snows of the season.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was well equipped, clean and quiet. The breakfast was tasty. A cute small lamb hotel in the backyard was a nice bonus 😀
