El J-Hoppers Kumano Yunomine Guesthouse se encuentra en Hongu, a 10 minutos en coche o a 70 minutos a pie por la ruta de peregrinación Kumano Kodo del gran santuario Kumano Hongu Taisha. Es la segunda vez que me quedo aqui! Y me encanta 💜 es un Hostal asi que toca compartir espacio con otras personas, pero nunca he tenido problema con eso, todos son amables y la ubicación es excelente, justo frente a la estación y a un lado del bus que va a Nachi falls

El Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in, templo budista con 1.000 años de historia, ofrece alojamiento de estilo japonés, un bonito jardín y WiFi gratuita. Staying at Eko-in was an exceptional and unforgettable experience. I highly recommend booking the Okunoin cemetery night tour—it was both atmospheric and deeply moving. The meals are fully vegetarian and beautifully presented. If you're not a fan of tofu, some of the dinner dishes might not be to your taste—but that, too, is part of the cultural and spiritual experience. I was initially anxious about sleeping on a traditional futon, but it turned out to be surprisingly comfortable and added to the overall sense of authenticity. A truly unique stay.

民宿 和合 Minshuku WAGO está en Tanabe, a 2 min a pie de Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art y a 29 km de Sala de Conciertos Kamitonda. Ike es lo más grande que hay! Nos solucionó un error con la reserva y nos preparó desayuno y almuerzo exquisito! Lo súper recomiendo! Arigato Ike

高野山 宿坊 光明院 -Koyasan Shukubo Komyoin- está en Koyasan, a 39 km de Kishi Station y a 45 km de Matsushita Park. Ofrece alojamiento con jardín y wifi gratis, además de parking privado gratis. It was such an amazing, unique experience. The monks are most welcoming and accommodating. Ryokan style rooms with futons, which can be a bit hard, as expected (part of the experience). The place looks incredible, still attains so much history and ancient culture within its walls. It was incredible to be a part of that for a bit and attending the ceremonies was the highlight of our stay.

Guesthouse Fuki Juku se encuentra en Fuki, a 40 km de Subaru Hall, y ofrece alojamiento con bicicletas gratis, parking privado gratis y jardín. A sacred stay I’ll never forget Staying at this guesthouse in Fuki was an absolute blessing. Akemi and Tomo are truly special people—so kind, thoughtful, and welcoming. I felt safe, cared for, and deeply supported throughout my stay. Their warmth and presence made all the difference, especially as I was traveling solo. The guesthouse itself is a beautifully preserved traditional Japanese home, full of charm and quiet energy. The village, with only around 200 people, offers an authentic glimpse into life near Kōyasan—deeply connected to nature, community, and spirituality. I was incredibly lucky to have the entire house to myself, and even more so to receive a private tour of Kōyasan from the hosts, which was personal and full of insight. Although the weather was unexpectedly cold for this time of year, the hosts did their best to keep the space warm, offering extra blankets and heaters. Just be aware that heaters typically can’t be left on overnight, so it can get chilly. Even with that, I would absolutely rate the stay as exceptional. The home-cooked breakfasts and dinners were a highlight—delicious, nourishing, and made with so much care. I also spent a peaceful day resting, reading, writing, and enjoying the slow rhythm of the village. It was a deeply grounding and meaningful experience. If you’re looking for something quiet, real, and full of heart, this is the place. I left feeling incredibly grateful.

El 高野山 宿坊 桜池院 -Koyasan Shukubo Yochiin- ocupa un histórico templo situado en la zona sagrada del monte Koya. Increíble experiencia! El monje que nos recibió y acompañó durante la estadía fue fantástico. Y la habitación espectacular. Super recomendable, volvería sin dudas

Samsara Inn 今だけオープン特別価格 está en Tanabe, a 15 min a pie de Playa de Tanabe Ogigahama y a 400 metros de Tokei Shrine, y ofrece wifi gratis y aire acondicionado. Everyone was so nice and accommodating! The decor and lighting was really cool, and it was very helpful to have so much space and laundry machines inside the room. The onigiri and vegan ice cream cone were also really good!

里庵紀の風 Rian Kinokaze es un alojamiento con jardín que está en Kokawa, a 15 km de Kishi Station, a 17 km de Jigenin Temple y a 18 km de Matsushita Park. Spacious, comfortable, washer and dryer ready, quiet at night but unfortunately it’s cloudy on our stay otherwise night sky will be excellent
