The room is well set up with great amenities (and a wonderful mini bar), love the bathtub. I slept so well in the room as it is very quiet. If you love Thai massage this hotel will be a plus as they have a Thai spa. Restaurants provide both Japanese & Thai food (and very good). Lounge areas are great comfortable and spacious work areas for meetings. Most of the hotel staff speak English so it was very easy to communicate our needs.

The property is situated 1.3 km from Shoren-in Temple, 2 km from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and 2 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum. The hotel features a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We stayed there for only one night and wished if it could have been more. Totally loved the place. Centrally located in Kyoto. Minutes walking to the best spots in town. Just cross the street for a metro station and a bus stop. Overlooking the river. Regarding our room it was huge compared to hotels in Japan, our bathroom had a hot tub, pyjamas (kimono style), definitely a Japanese styled bidet and a very large TV screen. They allow luggage storage before check in and after check out. Decent staff. Totally recommended

Perfect for unwinding after busy days of sightseeing and crowds. The bath does wonders for tired legs from walking. The room is stocked with an assortment of free drinks and traditional snacks are provided in the lobby. The location is great, only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station and close to other public transport. We walked to most of the main attractions. The staff was very helpful and everyone spoke very good English so it was easy to communicate. Our breakfast was cooked with care each morning, making it a great start of each day. We would definitely come back!

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. The staff were wonderful - we had to reorganize our check-in time several times, and they were really nice and helpful. They even helped us send our luggage straight to Tokyo and were very attentive about a gluten allergy one of us has. The food was a solid 10 out of 10. We had an outstanding dinner and a traditional Japanese breakfast with all the small, beautifully presented dishes.

The units come with parquet floors and feature a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, a dining area, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with hot tub and slippers. A fridge and kitchenware are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the villa complex, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. The location was great. It is near 3 train stations Shijo-Omiya, Nijo station and Nijojo-mae station (all under 1KM walk). Shinsenen-mae bus stop is only 100m away. There are many nice eateries around with many large supermarkets, LIFE at Nijo station, Seiyu Sanjo (300m) away as well as Fresco (300m) away. The apartment is also sparkly clean and new unlike some of the comments from the past. The staff at the counter were great and super responsive. There is a folder on the instructions to operate the appliances in the apartment. The coffee capsules given were superb, better than some of those stall bought coffee. We checked in in the evening and was able to enter the apartment without any help. The management sent a detailed video on how to operate the digital key lock prior to check in. The pricing of this apartment was pricey but worth every penny. Will certainly recommend to our friends and family!
